Torch vs. Regular Lighters?
Which is right? Torch lighters or conventional lighters? The former is recommended because of technical and ethical reasons.
The main difference lies in the quality and grade of the gas utilized in the lighters. Torch lighters are usually filled with pure butane gas that is flavorless, colorless and odorless. On the other hand, gases found in cheap lighters will most definitely ruin your cigar's flavor. Torch lighters are great for outdoor use and could withstand high winds. Just be careful of the flame when lighting the cigar as it can also burn the foot unevenly.
Let us stop the confusion and simply stick to the oldest method of them all? Matches.
